We can program most vehicle “computer chip” keys for cars that “car dealers” say only they can do. We do Keys by Code, General Motors V.A.T.S keys, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Nissan and Toyota Transponder keys and factory installed keyless remotes.
When you purchase a new car you receive a set of keys along with a metal or paper tag with a number on it. This is your key code. It should be recorded and placed in your wallet. It will save you a lot of time and money should you lose your key. File the original code in a safe place.
If you should purchase a pre-owned vehicle, don’t leave without a second working key. Many dealers are selling these vehicles with one key and if it is lost, the cost for making new keys could equal or exceed the car payment.
